Our Bounty Box programs started up again this week and we received another great selection of produce. Green onions, Asian greens, bibb lettuce, apples, cilantro, acorn squash, turnips, and locally canned dill pickles. I’ve never been a huge fan of turnips but these were fantastic—small, creamy white, and crunchy. We sliced them like radishes and ate them raw while I was making dinner.
