Nice mix this week—swiss chard, yellow squash, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, salad greens, apples, and fresh herbs. What you don’t see in this photo is what will likely be the last watermelon of the season.
You know, we did the Bounty Box program all winter long and we ate so many greens I thought I’d never miss them. But it’s good to see some swiss chard showing up in the rotation again. And despite overdosing this summer on peppers and tomatoes, I’m sure come February I’ll be feeling the same way about them.
